The Young Punx are a genre-blending electronic music project led by Grammy-winning producer and multi-instrumentalist Hal Ritson together with DJ Nathan Taylor and hype man Simon Bettison.

Formed in the mid-2000s, The Young Punx built a reputation for high-energy releases and DJ-led live shows that mash together house, electro, funk, disco, rock and left-field pop, often collaborating with vocalists, musicians and visual artists from across scenes.

Alongside the core project, Hal Ritson is an established producer whose work for other artists has amassed over 30 billion streams, including collaborations with Katy Perry, Duke Dumont, The Chemical Brothers, Nas, Charli XCX, Avicii, Clean Bandit and many more.

The Young Punx have released multiple studio albums, remixes and singles, toured internationally and curated their own broadcasts and visual worlds through projects such as The Young Punx FM podcast. The project has always existed as a space for creative freedom, playful genre collision and ideas that sit just outside the expected lanes of electronic music.

In 2026, The Young Punx return with WPUNX, a new era of original music that reconnects with the project’s spirit of experimentation, humour and high-impact club energy.
